JG Thirlwell‘s Xordox project will play a long-awaited New York City show on July 2, 2018 at Secret Project Robot at 1186 Broadway in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
For this iteration of Xordox, Thirlwell will be joined by long-time musical collaborator Simon Hanes (of Tredici Bacci) on additional keyboards. They will play in front of a visual backdrop created exclusively by Swedish artist Sten Backman.
Opening act will be synth artist Faten Kanaan. Tickets are available here.
JG Thirlwell’s Xordox project will make its debut performance in London at Corsica Studios on July 5 2018. For this live iteration, Thirlwell will be joined on keyboards by long time colleague and collaborator Simon Hanes of Tredici Bacci. Tredici Bacci is the project of musician and composer Simon Hanes that channels his love of ’60s/’70s soundtrack music, tipping his hat especially to Italy and the likes of Ennio Morricone and Bruno Nicolai. The group’s new album, Amore Per Tutti, is out November 11 via NNA Tapes, and it contains the song “Give Him the Gun” which features special guest lead vocals from JG Thirlwell.
