JG Thirlwell has a piece of artwork in a temporary exhibition called Cultural Olympiad by Paris 2024. It is on display at the Château de Montsoreau – Museum of Contemporary Art, from June 15 to August 11, 2024.
For this exhibition, each country will be represented by an artist, selected by a committee made up of actors from the art world according to predefined regulations. JG Thirlwell represents Australia. All works are black and white and A4 format.
UPDATE : JG Thirlwell is honored to announce that he was chosen by the Museum’s jury as the “winner” in the design category of “Apollo’s Decathlon” at Château de Montsoreau. The panel declared “Your work stood out for its originality, artistic quality and impact. The jury was unanimously impressed by your talent and your exceptional contribution to this event. Congratulations on this remarkable achievement, and thank you very much for taking part in the competition. Your work perfectly embodies the values of excellence and creativity that we wish to promote.”
