The piece will premiere at <strong>Roulette<\/strong> in NYC on April 10 2019, alongside premieres by <strong>John King<\/strong> and <strong>Lisa Ren\u00e9e Coons<\/strong>. Entitled &#8216;<strong>Exulansis<\/strong>&#8216;, Thirlwell&#8217;s piece will feature the String Orchestra along with two french horns, two trombones and two percussionists. JG described the piece as &#8220;an urgent and cinematic work which explores escaping memories\u00a0 through the prism of the culture of fear and dread&#8221;.
