It will be installed in the small garden at the new<strong>\u00a0Skandion Clinic<\/strong> for cancer treatment in Uppsala, Sweden, and inaugurated in the fall of 2014. The following artists will contribute to the sound installation : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vimeo.com\/usergronlundnisunen\">Tommi Gr\u00f6nlund \/ Petteri Nisunen<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.touchmusic.org.uk\/\">Mike Harding<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.janawinderen.com\/\">Jana Winderen<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finnbogi.com\/\">Finnbogi Petursson<\/a>, Anna Ceeh \/ <a href=\"en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Franz_Pomassl\">Franz Pomassl<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fonik.dk\">Jacob Kirkegaard<\/a>, The Sons of God (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenttankred.se\/\">Kent Tankred<\/a> \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leifelggren.org\/\">Leif Elggren<\/a>), <a href=\"www.bjnilsen.com\/\">BJNilsen<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maia.no\/\">Maia Urstad<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foetus.org\">JG Thirlwell<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.brandonlabelle.net\/\">Brandon LaBelle<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineodlund.se\/\">Christine \u00d6dlund<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.permagnus.net\/\">Permagnus Lindborg<\/a> and artist curator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cmvonhausswolff.net\/\">Carl Michael von Hausswolff<\/a>. The project curator is Lotta Mossum and project organizors are Tomas Nilsson and Akademiska Hus.<br \/>\n<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.skandionkliniken.se\/index.php\">The Skandion Clinic<\/a><\/strong> is the first clinic for proton therapy in Scandinavia. Proton therapy makes it possible to treat cancer more effectively and with fewer side effects than with conventional radiation therapy.\u00a0 The clinic is located in Uppsala, Sweden and the first patient is expected to be treated in 2015. The clinic is designed at present for treatment of 1000 patients per year, but with an option of future expansion.<\/p>\n<p>The artists of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.freq-out.org\/\">freq_out<\/a><\/strong> feel very honored to contribute to this project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>freq_out 1.2\u221e(skandion) will be the first permanent freq_out sound installation.
