RAFT is the project of <a href=\"https:\/\/raftmusic.tumblr.com\/\">Pat Noecker<\/a> (These Are Powers, Liars, No Things). RAFT gathers performers from NYC underground + experimental music scenes, scatters them around a room, and sets them loose \u2014 creating a personalized, fully immersive music experience that alters depending where you&#8217;re standing. The performance, in it&#8217;s simplest form is 11 musicians working to sustain the notes of A and E.<\/p>\n<p>For this performance RAFT will be joined by <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/ivymeadows\">Camilla Padgitt-Coles<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/danaschechter.com\/\">Dana Schechter<\/a>, Melissa Moore, <a href=\"https:\/\/rachelannmason.com\/main.php\">Rachel Mason<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sabishafriedberg.net\/\">Sabisha Friedberg<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/chasebrian.com\/home\/\">Brian Chase<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strangeweatherbrooklyn.com\/\">Daniel Schlett<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/infinitelimbs.com\/\">Greg Fox,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/artonair.org\/show\/pat-spadine-the-ashcan-orchestra\">Pat Spadine <\/a>and JG Thirlwell.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acehotel.com\/newyork\">Ace Hotel<\/a> is located at 20 West 29 street NY 10001<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JG Thirlwell will be participating in a Performance of RAFT&#8217;s Transmissions in A and E on October 19 at the Ace Hotel in NYC.
