We are excited to announce that JG Thirlwell<\/strong> will be presenting his surround sound Silver Mantis<\/strong> project in St Louis<\/strong> at Gethsemane Lutheran Church<\/strong> on Sept 27 2024 and in Kansas City<\/strong>  at Grand Avenue Temple<\/strong> on Sept 28 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Kansas City, there will be opening performances by Elska<\/strong> and Eric Hall<\/strong> and followed by a premier of \u201cInner Death Choir\u201d by multimedia artist Unicorns in the Snow<\/strong>. In St Louis the evening will also feature special performances by N\u00e1dir Smyth<\/strong> and Eric Hall<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Silver Mantis<\/strong> is a 50 minute live surround-sound electro-acoustic presentation, performed with keyboards, prepared piano and theremin. It is performed with a projection created exclusively for the project by acclaimed Swedish visual artist Sten Backman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
