July 13-14: Foetus.
Gradually approaching living-legend status,
the Australian expatriate J.G. (Foetus) Thirlwell has for the past twenty
years played a leading role in industrial rock, a genre of unrelenting
ferocity. Though some may write Thirlwell off as a stylized noisenik,
his vast body of work actually displays a masterful command of the medium
of sound.
