In addition to the SFOTW track, Thirlwell also played marimbas on the The The track "Flesh and Bones" (credited as Thin Jim Thirlwell); co-produced, did additional drum processing and played piano on the Coil track "The Wheel"; and played drums, sax and guitar as well as produced the Marc Almond track "Love Amongst the Ruined".

The initial UK LP release's cover varied from the one above in that the colors were different.
