"Puppet Dude" is a re-worked version of Elton John's "Rocket Man", and serves as a tribute to Jim Henson (of Muppet fame).  (Thirlwell / Fleming / Spiegel / Dunbar also recorded 3 other studio tracks when they created "Puppet Dude", which have yet to see the light of day; one of them being "Song For Sammy", a tribute to Sammy Davis Jr., who died on the same day as Jim Henson.)
