Beth B documentary at Berlin Film fest

Beth B ExposedBeth B’s  documentary feature Exposed will be screening at the Berlin Film Festival.  The film contains two pieces by JG Thirlwell on the soundtrack, composed exclusively for the film.
In this independent feature documentary film, renowned director Beth B  takes an in-depth look at the subculture of contemporary, groundbreaking new-burlesque performers in New York today. Exposed is a story of character—a vast spectrum of personalities that are shocking and scintillating, and are taking hold of a classical art form and driving it to whole new extremes. Many of the performers look to promote new visions of their transgressive attitudes toward identity and gender.

Feb 9, 10:30pm – CineStar
